First Birthday ... with all the Rhymes!

We love a party ... and even more, we love a THEME! From start to finish, the little details are our favorite. At the beginning of the invitation planning stage, we love to hear how the client envisions their party ... then, develop invitations that will give the best first impression of their party in their guests' mailboxes. As soon as the invitations are mailed, we are planning all of the little extra party details that we can do to make the party cohesive and give it a completely custom look.

So, when one of our favorite clients (who is totally a kindred spirit and quickly became a bff!) said that she wanted to do a "Mother Goose" theme for her daughter's First Birthday ... our creativity started bubbling!
(After all, what is better than a theme full of our favorite childhood book and endless rhymes!?!)

Here are a few of the details ... Enjoy!

The Invitations
We did them as a "book" ... and even had custom stamps made to match!

The Party Entrance
We love this idea for the front door of the party!
A chic umbrella with a "humpty dumpty" and gorgeous flowers!
We made a little "Rain, Rain, Go Away ... It's Louise's First Birthday" banner for it.

The Party Decor
Love the mix of children's chairs for the kids' table ... along with Mother Goose themed books and Madame Alexander dolls. And, of course, the Lilly Pulitzer pom poms are always a favorite!

The Birthday Cake
This adorable cake was created to coordinate with the invitations and party details ...
and we loved making this cake topper!
Of course,we totally glittered the cake topper and added lots of ribbons in the party colors.

The Birthday Girl
Oh, could she be any cuter?!? Someone is ready for their cake!
We loved (loved!) creating this custom designed party hat for her special day. Pink, glittered and with fabulous lime green silk ribbon.

The Napkins
We did several different napkin rings for these adorable polka dot napkins!

The Lunch Box
Love the idea of giving each child at the party their own little lunch box ...
which included a Mother Goose themed menu (of course!)
Little Boy Blue(berry) Muffins
Little Miss Muffet Curd (yogurt)
Cow Jumped Over the Moon Milk

The Menu
Of course, the rest of the menu was just as adorable ::
Cupcakes (with custom-made picks!)
Three Little Pigs in a Blanket
Little Boy Blue Muffins
Twinkle Twinkle Fruit (with custom-made star picks!)
Humpty Dumpty Quiche
Hush-a-Bye Bellinis
Jack & Jill Water

What a fun, adorable party! Happy Birthday, Louise ... and MANY more!
